First Pumpkin Patch Trip

The weekend was sooo awesome. And I realized that I am way behind on blogging some recent events around here. So today we are going to go back in time. All the way back to Oct 19th when we went to the Pumpkin Patch. It was a good day. A bit too hot for my pumpkin picking taste. Seriously the weather here is still in the 90's. Crazy global warming.

The Phi found a perfect Soupie-sized pumpkin and insisted that she carry it while we wandered the pumpkin patch. Of course she tripped and fell and the stem broke in half. Here she is examining the damage.

She was stoked to get her face painted. Well until the actually started with the air brush. Then she kind of freaked. But PR Dad was able to calm her enough so that the dude could finish. Then she was stoked again.

The Phi and PR Dad got to take a ride around in these little cars. The ride included doing donuts in the dirt and super loud rock music.

There were 2 highlights of the day. The Phi finally got to ride a horse. She has been asking to take a pony ride since this summer. She had never been on a horse before and she loved it. Every time she would pass us her smile would get bigger and bigger!

Yes that's The Phi shaking hands with a monkey named Charlie.

How freakin' awesome is that? Seriously?
